Amber single filament 21W bulb on AP1 cars: Honda part 33301-ST7-J01, "Bulb (12V 21W) (S25)(Amber)", catalogued for 2000 to 2003 only.

Check the base before you order. The matching socket is Honda 33514-S2A-003, which Honda names Socket (PY21W). A PY21W has a BAU15s base with offset pins. The 1156A commonly listed for this position is a BA15s bulb with level pins and is the wrong base. The correct interchange for a PY21W amber is 7507.

The changeover to the AP2 bulb is confirmed at model year 2004: Honda lists this bulb and its socket for 2000 to 2003 only.

Source: Honda parts catalogue: bulb 33301-ST7-J01 (12V 21W, S25, amber) paired with socket 33514-S2A-003, which Honda itself names "Socket (PY21W)", listed for the 2000 to 2003 S2000 only. PY21W means offset pins, which is the 7507. The 1156A on forum charts has level pins and the wrong base; even some listings for the genuine Honda bulb mislabel it 1156.
