Privacy.

This site exists to answer questions about a car, not to collect data about you. Here is exactly what happens when you use it, in plain language.

Effective September 10, 2026

The short version

Browsing this site does not require an account and does not send us anything that identifies you. We use Webflow's built in analytics, which is cookieless and reports visits in aggregate. If you use the contact form, we get what you type and use it only to reply. If you click a product link, the store you land on may set tracking cookies so a purchase can be credited to this site. That is the whole model.

What this site collects

Nothing personally identifying is collected while you browse. The site runs no advertising pixels, no third party analytics such as Google Analytics or Meta, and no fingerprinting scripts. Our hosting provider, Webflow, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to run and secure the service, as any host does.

Analytics

This site uses Webflow's built in analytics to see which pages get read and which do not. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, builds no profile of you, follows you to no other site, and shares nothing with Google or any advertising network. The data stays within Webflow and reaches us as aggregate counts, such as how many people opened the torque page last week. Because no cookie or similar technology is stored on your device for this, it does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules that govern cookie banners, and there is nothing here to opt out of. If that ever changes, so does this page.

If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are stored by Webflow and emailed to us. They are used only to reply to you. They are not added to any mailing list, sold, or shared. Writing to us never signs you up for anything.

There is also a separate, optional update list on the contact page. If you add your email address to it, that address is stored by Webflow and used only to send occasional notes about pages being added or specifications being corrected. It is never sold or shared, it is not used for advertising, and it is not connected to the contact form. Ask us to remove you and we will, or use the unsubscribe link in any message. This list is opt in only: nothing is ever added to it because you browsed the site or wrote to us.

Affiliate links and partner cookies

Product links on this site are affiliate links. This site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, the eBay Partner Network, and the CJ Affiliate network, through which the Parts Geek links are tracked. When you click one of these links, the destination site or the affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technology on your device so that a later purchase can be attributed to this site. If you buy something, this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

These cookies belong to the partners, not to us, and we never see your name, address, payment details, or what you bought beyond aggregate commission reporting. You can read how Amazon handles data in the Amazon privacy notice.

Cookies this site itself sets

Two values, stored in your browser: one remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every page, and one remembering whether you prefer US or metric units on the spec tables. Neither identifies you and neither leaves your device. That is it.

Your choices

You can browse this entire site without clicking any product link, and no partner tracking will be involved. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. For interest based advertising choices generally, the industry opt out pages at aboutads.info and thenai.org cover most networks. If you are in a region with data protection rights (such as the EU or UK) and want to exercise them with respect to anything we hold, use the contact form and we will handle it.

Changes

If the way this site works changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date above moves. No silent edits.
